W-FLAME detector, a boiler safety detection device, has found extensive use in single and multiple-burner boilers in diverse industries, such as power generation, petrochemicals, metallurgy, and pulp & paper. The W-FLAME performs accurate detection of the burner flames at various stages of boiler startup and operation. This reduces the potential risk of boiler explosions which can occur as the result of unburned fuel building-up inside the boilers. The W-FLAME ensures maximum safety and stability in boiler operations.
W-Flame series flame detector converts the detected target flame optical signal into an electrical signal, based on its unique integrated design, the signal processor has been built into the detector, eliminating the need for separate flame amplif, and with a cable to send the flame detector signal directly to the control unit. The detectors operate on 24VDC, and can be pre-configured to specific burner applications which make them a truly plug and play device.
