Safefire’s EZ-Flame smart flame detection system recently won the bid for a core equipment project undertaken by Zhejiang Jiahua Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd., providing a high-precision and highly reliable safety monitoring solution for its low-oil ignition combustion system. This collaboration underscores EZ-Flame’s technological leadership in complex industrial combustion scenarios.
Harsh Challenge - Dual-fuel precise monitoring and extreme environments
The project employs micro-oil ignition technology, which requires simultaneously and precisely capturing flame signals from both pulverized coal and fuel oil, while also overcoming three major core challenges:
- Precise differentiation of multiple flames: The spectral differences between coal- and oil-based dual-fuel flames are significant, making it easy for conventional flame detectors to produce false alarms.
- Ultra-high-temperature environment: The temperature in the burner area exceeds 350℃, so the optical fiber and probe must have long-term high-temperature resistance.
- Zero false alarm requirement: The self-check system must eliminate false fire signals and ensure the reliability of FSSS interlocks.

EZ-Flame Solve the problem with three innovative technologies:
1. Dual-spectrum precise identification
Infrared ( 900-1700nm ) Capture the thermal radiation of coal dust flames, ultraviolet ( 221-358nm ) Lock the fuel flame characteristics;
