Application Scenarios
Make combustion cleaner, more efficient and safer
The SA-3000 Flame Detection System has been successfully integrated into the 3×350 MW power plant project on Batam Island, Indonesia.
Saf-fire SA-3000 Flame Detector It is the first phase of the 3×350MW thermal power generation project supporting the energy and power infrastructure and supporting facilities project on Batam Island, Indonesia, for Dongfang Electric Corporation. This high‑performance flame detector will provide highly reliable, intelligent combustion safety monitoring for ultra‑critical boilers.

In response to project requirements, the SA-3000 series offers a split-type infrared flame detection solution:
-
Precise Dual-Fuel Identification: The SF-300IR probe (900–1700 nm infrared spectrum), paired with the SA-3000IR amplifier, precisely captures the characteristics of pulverized coal and fuel oil flames.
-
All‑electronic self‑testing system: Real-time fault diagnosis eliminates false flame signals and ensures the reliable operation of FSSS interlocks.
-
High-temperature and high-humidity protection: The probe has an IP67 protection rating and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C, making it suitable for long‑term operation in tropical environments.
-
Intelligent Networked Management: Supports networking of up to 128 systems, enabling remote software debugging and parameter configuration to enhance operations and maintenance efficiency.
System Integration and Value Realization
Each unit in the project is equipped with 32 sets of flame detectors and flame detector amplifiers, along with supporting equipment such as a cooling air system. The SA-3000 system leverages its high stability and low maintenance costs as core advantages, helping power plants achieve:
-
Precise, all‑weather monitoring of combustion status;
-
The unit has been operating safely for more than 18,000 hours.
-
Long‑term reliable assurance in complex tropical environments.
