1. Project background

As the third largest integrated steel plant in Turkey and the largest integrated steel plant with long-term product production capacity, İsdemir Steel Plant was commissioned in 2008 with a hot rolling capacity of 3.5 million tons/year. With its unique advantages and scale, the only and largest integrated plant in Turkey that produces both long products and plates, the plant occupies an important position in the Turkish steel industry. Its integrated production model provides the market with a diverse selection of steel products to meet the needs of different sectors, providing solid support for Turkey's economic development and infrastructure construction.

Due to the old ignition and fire detection equipment, it is not suitable for increasingly complex combustion conditions, which ultimately affects production safety and efficiency. Therefore, we entered into a partnership with Safefire and purchased the EZ-FLAME series flame detector and the S-80-02 series high-energy ignition device.

It is widely used in electric power, petrochemical, steel, paper and other industries. In all stages of boiler start-up and operation, accurate detection of burner flame can effectively prevent the potential danger of furnace explosion when fuel is fed into the furnace without being ignited, and provide protection for the safe and stable operation of the boiler.

3. S-80-02 high-energy ignition device

As a professional boiler ignition device, the high-energy igniter is mainly used for the direct ignition of large and medium-sized boiler burner oil guns and air guns, and can also be used for the ignition start of some small boiler burners. The high-energy igniter device is mainly composed of three parts: an ignition gun assembly, a high-voltage cable assembly and a high-energy igniter.

Safefire's S-80-02 series of high-energy solid-state ignition devices are designed for direct ignition of residual fuel oil (RFO) or heavy fuel oil (HFO) under normal conditions, or light oil or gas under harsh conditions. For your convenience, Safefire also has an additional LED indicator to indicate when the igniter is ignition. The high-energy igniter releases 33 joules of energy, which can be transferred to the ignition gun tip through a dedicated high-voltage cable assembly, which strikes and outputs a high-energy electrical spark.

At the same time, it can also customize ignition gun components and high-voltage cable assemblies according to customer needs.
